What You’ll Learn:

• CQB Fundamentals: Understanding the principles of movement, angles, and positioning in confined spaces.
• Room Clearing Techniques: Step-by-step methods for single and team-based entry into rooms and buildings.
• Threat Identification and Engagement: Rapid target acquisition and discrimination in dynamic environments.
• Communication Skills: Verbal and non-verbal communication techniques for team coordination.
• Use of Cover and Concealment: Effective positioning and movement to maximize survivability.
• Weapon Transitions: Seamless switching between primary and secondary weapons when required.
• Stress Management: Decision-making under pressure to enhance performance and safety.
• Tactical Scenarios: Realistic training scenarios simulating home defense, law enforcement, and military operations.

Course Details:

• Duration: 1 Day (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Location: Midwest Shooting Center, Lima, Ohio
• Required Equipment:
  • Semi-automatic rifle or carbine with sling
  • Handgun with holster (optional but recommended)
  • 2-3 magazines for each weapon system
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Tactical clothing and footwear suitable for dynamic movement
  • Plate carrier or chest rig (optional)
  • Minimum [insert round count] rounds of rifle and handgun ammunition
  • Training flashlight or weapon-mounted light (recommended)

Prerequisites:

Participants should have foundational firearm handling skills and a basic understanding of safety principles. Completion of a fundamental rifle or handgun course is recommended but not required.
