- Zeroing Your Rifle: Understanding and adjusting optics or iron sights for precision shooting at various distances.
- Reloading Techniques: Practicing efficient magazine changes under different scenarios.
- Malfunction Clearing: Identifying and resolving common rifle malfunctions quickly and safely.
- Tactical Shooting: Engaging targets from various positions, including standing, kneeling, prone, and behind cover.
- Rifle Dynamics: Techniques for transitioning between targets, engaging multiple threats, and working in close-quarters situations.
- Movement and Cover: Shooting on the move and using cover effectively in real-world scenarios.
Course Details:
- Duration: 6 Hour Course (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Location: Pickaway County Sportsmen Inc, Circleville, Ohio
- Required Equipment:
- Semi-automatic rifle or carbine (AR-15, AK-47, etc.)
- 2-3 magazines
- Rifle sling (two-point or single-point recommended)
- Eye and ear protection
- Minimum [300] rounds of ammunition
- Weather-appropriate clothing and footwear
- Rifle optics (optional but recommended)
Prerequisites:
No prior experience is necessary, but participants must be legally allowed to possess a firearm and provide proof of eligibility if required by state or local laws.
